Facebook tells me that Keene residents will be holding a “Jail House Jamboree” to support the 4 Liberty activists who are in jail and “remind them that they are not alone.”

I just got off the phone with a woman from the Cheshire County Department of Corrections who stated that only three people had been kidnapped today by the Cheshire County Sheriff’s Department: Ryan Maddox and another individual who won’t give his/her name for criminal trespass. Evan Pierce was arrested for possession of narcotics (assumed to be the plant known as marijuana).
They will not be allowed to pay a ransom (called “bail” during the phone conservation) and will be locked in a cage until their court date on Monday. The time is unknown.

Here is the number for the County Jail where, Ryan Maddox & Evan Peirce are being held. I will be calling it throughout the day and night to check on the status of these young men.

Free Keene: Keene Crackdown at Pumpkin Fest -
Six individuals were arrested by police this afternoon at Pumpkin Fest. The daily 420 event was moved to the area directly in front of City Hall due to the massive pumpkin display at Central Square. Rich Paul of Keene took to the megaphone in front a large crowd and at the proper time lit a pipe presumably containing marijuana, a plant. Police quickly surrounded Mr. Paul and placed him under arrest. Noah Wood and Evan Pierce were also seen lighting up and were arrested as well.
Three other individuals were also arrested at city hall, when asked about the charge officers indicated that they did not know why they were arresting the three. A witness reportedly saw one of the individuals attempt to enter the city hall building prompting police to arrest him. It is unknown at this time exactly what happened. Ryan Maddox, Dan Steward and Yadra, all from the Keene area.
Latest update: Rich Paul, Evan Pierce, Noah Wood and Dan Steward have been released; Ryan Maddox and Yadra are reported to be at the Cheshire County Correctional Facility.
